We are delighted to announce the first anniversary of our branch at Middlesex University.
Our Middlesex branch has helped 672 candidates get into temporary work for 27 clients across the campus in total, offering temporary, paid and part-time work for its students.
It has been a fantastic year since Middlesex University joined the Unitemps network, having billed over £547,000 after just six months of operation and exceeding the target set for year 5 of operation before the first year was out.
Middlesex University came on board with us in 2017 to support and work with students to plan a route into employment, gain the skills and experience needed to be successful in the work place, secure a job in time for graduation.
The Middlesex University branch is part of MDXworks – the University’s employability support provision based in CG07, College Building, Hendon, which offers a wide range of work opportunities to students on-campus including roles within their successful Student Ambassador and Student Learning Assistant Schemes as well as many other varied opportunities across their faculties and services. As Unitemps sits within Middlesex University’s Employability Service, students get access to an aligned service providing work experience opportunities that tie in to the core employability skills development initiatives.
The Middlesex University branch got started during a hugely successful year for the entire Unitemps network. As well as celebrating our 20th birthday, we welcomed Salford University and Nottingham Trent University to our network. In the last year, universities have collectively saved approximately £5.3million on VAT from investing in our Unitemps franchise solution.
We look forward to another successful year in 2018 and building on what we have already achieved with Middlesex University.
