Unitemps is pleased to announce the launch of their first branch in Scotland. The University of Edinburgh will be opening a Unitemps branch in June 2020 to provide a recruitment service on campus for current students. Initially, the new branch will support Information Services to recruit for positions within their department.
Andy Walker, Unitemps Franchise Relationship Manager, commented on this new partnership “I am absolutely delighted for the University of Edinburgh to be joining the Unitemps franchise network as the 18th partner institution. Not only are they a prestigious Russell Group University but they are also the first Unitemps franchise in Scotland. This represents another significant step forward for the Unitemps network, and I look forward to working closely with the team at Edinburgh to launch and grow the branch.”
Gavin Ian McLachlan, Vice-Principal and Chief Information Officer at the University of Edinburgh, also shared his enthusiasm about the new branch “On campus student employment is a key area of the student experience at the University of Edinburgh. We are looking to improve all aspects of the experience for our students. Unitemps will help significantly in our ability to easily recruit, on-board and manage our employed students. Unitemps will also help lighten the administration burden on our staff, allowing them to spend more time with the students.”
